Peace of mind.

A topic of much debate. Especially in current times.

Many of us simply cannot do that.

You know why?

Because of the varying hardships which we go through on a daily basis. Don’t you think that is true?

We do go through them, right?

In our office, in schools, in our colleges! Even in traffic. The yelling and chaos are always there.

It has become an inseparable part of our lives. You know why?

At the end of this huge scheme is just one word: Money.

Yeah, it is perhaps, at least in my perspective, one of the major reasons that we guys don’t have peace in our minds and in our hearts.

Everything is so restless all the time! We are so restless all the time.

As if there is a constant churning of thoughts and emotions mingling right into each other waging a war.

So, is there by any chance a way to achieve and know peace and be content and satisfied with our lives?

And not forget, have a feeling of gratitude. Almost forgot that.

But how to do it? 

How to achieve peace of mind when there is just too much going on around us? When our own mind seems to be working against us.

Please note guys that everything comes from within us. Yes, every emotion which we feel and every thought is inside.

You cannot spot it roaming outside your physical-self unless you went to Hogwarts or some school of magic.

You know what I am saying.

And regarding this, perhaps these tips to achieve peace of mind, happiness and contentment in life might be of some help to you.

The key to achieving peace of mind is to trust yourself

Just take a deep breath. C’mon just take it and exhale it.

Did you see that? Did you observe what that was? 

That was time man. With every breath, it is getting away from our grips. 

I really like that song from one of those Raj Kapoor’s movies – “Ek din bik jayga mati ke mol, jag mai reh jaygenge pyare tere bol” 

I don’t think being a regular person who is going on an 8-hour shift on a daily basis and who is living an average life can speed up his heist for making money. 

So, there is no point in being restless. Just have the ambition in your mind and hearts and just go with the flow.

If you cannot, then watch some inspiration on the internet. Watch something, read something. Do something about it. Seek guidance.

Not all of us can be a Mark Zuckerberg or Ritesh Aggarwal of our times. And that’s okay. Don’t let the fear of living an average life overpower you.

So, in this case, you would need to focus all your attention in learning

Yes, try and learn about the stock market. Learn to invest. Learn to handle your money. Learn finance. Read novels. Good books. Practice self-care. Go out with yourself. Watch good movies. The mix of all these things will help you achieve peace of mind in your life.

Don’t be jealous of others success

In life, there is no way that people won’t do better than you.

You will see people, your cousins, your friends being at par with you or even go higher up in the money food chain. 

This can be a strong reason for you to be jealous of them. Perhaps you may feel hurt a little. But in the end, it doesn’t really matter.

Oh, on this, you might say that one has to be practical in life. But look around – there are fucking 7 billion people on the planet. Resources will deplete if something is not done about population control. Do you really think having a family is important at this point in time? If you live alone then with proper financial management you will do okay with yourself. 

I don’t think there is any need to populate this world anymore. There are already too many of us and see what we have been doing to the planet. 

Time and again open up to someone you can trust

Yes, this is very important. 

To achieve peace of mind and contentment and happiness and joy in life sometimes it becomes important to spend a good quality evening with your friends. 

I can bet you would agree to this. Do I need to write or say anything more? 

Be positive in your actions – mindful approach for peace of mind

Now, this is a given guys.

You need to take little positive steps to achieve your goal. Do what you feel like or what makes you happy. It can be anything. You are a free being roaming on planet Earth. You gotta have some liberty man.

Just be positive. Remember positive actions. Positive thinking. Remind yourselves words like inspiration, well-being, health, prosperity, contentment.

All of these words play a great role in achieving peace of mind.

Learn to let go – doing everything with passion is not always the way to success

I think this is something which may someone agree to and someone may not. Anyhow, that is what I personally believe in. 

Yes, there are times when you will have to take a break. You will have to perhaps even take a step back. 

So that you can recharge yourself and be at it again with a fresh flowing positive energy in your veins. 

Meditate – the most important thing to achieve peace of mind

Meditation has many benefits like the reduced amount of stress, heightened brain activity. Increased levels of imagination and a healthy contemplative mind.

And if you progress then you can perhaps even touch the level of Yogis and Siddhas and mystics.

Anyway, to achieve a healthy sense of mindfulness and peace of mind meditation plays a key role.

Always remember – it is not the end

No, it is not. At the end of the day, you will be born again.

Hahaha that was a joke. And perhaps a bad one.

Anyways, the point is in every ending there is hope for new beginnings. So, just hold tight and prepare for an adventure. 

Because that is what life is – and it is up to you what you make out of it mate.
