The Truth of Life (What is it and How to Find it as Soon as Possible in Your Life?)

April 12, 2020

This million-dollar question, or rather just a bundle of words has caused a GOOD amount of confusion in the minds of almost everyone on the planet.

At one point or the other, everyone wants to know the truth of life. What is it? and if there is any secret to how we can find it and benefit from it?

Time and again, our planet has seen many seers and sages who have tried and shown a clutter-free path to humanity.

Few examples would be Lord Buddha, Jesus Christ, Mahavira, Paramhansa Yogananda and in the current times, there are people like Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, Om Swami who are guiding humanity towards the light.

Although, these people have done and are doing terrific work there are still many who have not been able to benefit from it.

So, when confused; how can you find the truth of life?

My first and foremost answer would be to listen to these guys. Read there books and contemplate what they have to say.

It might be of some help to you in the testing times of your life.

What is the truth of life?

In my opinion, it is death.

Not success, not worldly luxury, not desires and pleasures. But death.

However, it is just my personal opinion and you have every right to disagree with it.

But still, just think it out. What else can there be? Even if you have all the pleasures of life, even if you have travelled the world, even if you are usually the smartest man in the room what does it really matter?

How can it matter unless you can help people out in any way possible for good?

But still, for the sake of a second opinion let’s just say the truth of life is ‘finding who you are-your true self’

Now, with this statement (if you would like to call it so) the game becomes totally different.

As a matter of fact, many believe it to be the final achievement of life. Even I do believe it to be true.

It is just that according to me, death and finding your true self are connected somehow.

Like they are enmeshed into each other.

In the past as well, the great Siddhas have asserted a great deal on self-realization and liberation.

According to them, this is the only way to find your own truth about life.

But how to find the truth of life?

Yes, you will need to unlearn a lot of stuff to learn and implement new things.

For instance, you will have to:

  • Unlearn bitching and cultivate empathy
  • Unlearn putting others down and cultivate compassion
  • Unlearn non-discipline and cultivate discipline

In conclusion, it can be only said that there is no alternative but to follow the path of Yoga and do your sadhana as you deem fit, study texts, hone your thinking, meditate.

It is by indulging in all this only, that you will be able to get near to what can be called as the truth of life.
